MICG Investment Management Scholarship

MICG Investment Management has teamed up with Christopher Newport University and the Joseph W. Luter III School of Business to establish an annual scholarship that will honor one student with free tuition for a year.  The student is selected on the basis of academic achievement and campus involvement.  The honoree of the 1st annual MICG Investment Management Scholarship is Derek Shaw, a senior soccer player and double major in Finance and Spanish.  Derek has spent the summer leading up to the scholarship position as an intern with the firm.  He is assisting the marketing division. The first scholarship will be for the 2007-2008 school year.  MICG is excited about this long term relationship that will help encourage CNU business students to strive for success.
